Barnsley striker Iain Hume is making good progress in his recovery from the shocking head injury he suffered last year, the club have revealed.
The Canadian International had to undergo emergency surgery after a collision with Chris Morgan of Sheffield United back in November.
He was treated in a high dependency unit in hospital but Barnsley physiotherapist Matt Konopinski revealed that Morgan is on his way back to full fitness.
"Iain went for his scan last Friday and we have an appointment with the specialist next week where we will go through things" he told the club's official website.
"That will give us the opportunity to plan out the final parts of Iain's recovery."
"Iain is coming into Oakwell two or three times a week to do some work and he is looking bright" he added.
