Veteran full-back glad to be playing first-team football again

Former England international Michael Gray is happy to have secured a deal at Sheffield Wednesday until the end of the season. Gray originally joined the Owls on a month's loan from Wolves in early January and has made four appearances for the club. On transfer deadline day, the 34-year-old signed an extended deal at Hillsborough and had no qualms in committing himself to Brian Laws' side. "I'm delighted," Gray told the Sheffield Star. "I've been speaking to the manager about it since I played my first game here really. "It's nice to know where I am, so I can get myself settled for the rest of the season. "I'm delighted to be here. I knew about the club anyway. It's a huge club. I'm playing first-team football - long may it continue." Regarding the possibility of a more long-term deal at Hillsborough, Gray said: "I don't know. We'll wait and see what happens after that."
