Richard Naylor has completed a permanent move from Ipswich to Leeds United.
The Leeds-born utility man has been on loan at Elland Road since last month and has now signed a two-and-a-half year deal.
The 31-year-old had started out in Leeds' youth ranks before moving to Ipswich as a 16-year-old and going on to make almost 400 appearances for the East Anglia club.
Naylor has so far made four appearances for Leeds, being handed the captaincy in the absence of Frazer Richardson, and he is now hoping to help Leeds climb back into the Championship.
"I'm really, really pleased this is sorted and after all these years I can finally call myself a Leeds player," he told the club's official website.
Great opportunity
"I know my future now, I know it's here and I want to take this club forward.
"It is strange leaving Ipswich after almost 15 years down there because I'd made that my home.
"The club and the supporters have been good to me. My wife's from Ipswich and my family have been brought up there but this is an opportunity that is just too good to miss.
"I wouldn't have made a decision like this to go to any other club."
