Neil Warnock has revealed that Crystal Palace are to take Claude Davis on loan until the end of the season.
The Derby defender has reportedly been tracked by a number of clubs during the transfer window but Palace have won the chase for his signature.
It was thought the Eagles had agreed a one-month loan deal with Derby but Warnock has now clarified the situation.
Davis will stay at Selhurst Park for the remainder of the Championship campaign, although the Rams have the option to bring him back at any point.
Warnock confirmed to the Croydon Advertiser: "The deal isn't complete yet but we are taking Claude on loan until the end of the season - but Derby can recall him at any time."
The Jamaican centre-back has been with Derby since 2007 and has previously had spells with Sheffield United and Preston.
