Doncaster Rovers have completed the signing of Hibernian midfielder Dean Shiels for an undisclosed fee.
The attack-minded player has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal at the Keepmoat Stadium after passing a medical on winter transfer deadline day.
And having left the SPL, Shiels - who is ineligible for the FA Cup replay with Aston Villa - admits he was attracted by the level of ambition at Championship outfit Rovers.
"I'm delighted with the move," Shiels told Doncaster's official website.
"The style of football was one of the things that attracted me to Doncaster and the chance to work with (manager) Sean O'Driscoll was another.
"I know that the club is ambitious and that matches my ambition. I think it was the perfect choice for me."
