Bryan Gunn is hoping Alan Gow's versatility will boost Norwich City's survival bid after his arrival from Rangers.
As revealed by skysports.com on Sunday, the Canaries have now confirmed Gow has moved to Carrow Road on loan for the rest of the season.
The forward's signing follows on from the capture of Chris Killen from Celtic on loan and Norwich boss Gunn is looking forward to seeing the duo in action.
"I'm delighted to secure Alan on loan until the end of the season as there were a lot of other clubs looking to sign him," Gunn told the club's official website.
"Alan has already played in the Championship for Blackpool this season, so he knows the level and the standard down here.
"He can play in a variety of positions, so that will be important to us with 16 games to go.
"It will be interesting to see how he combines with Chris Killen from his Old Firm rivals Celtic."
Providing international clearance is received in time, Gow could make his debut for Norwich against Wolves on Tuesday night.
Gow had agreed to join Wolves earlier in the transfer window only for the move to the Championship leaders to fall through due to a failed medical.
