Stoke have agreed contract extensions with midfielder Amdy Faye and defender Andy Wilkinson. Faye moved to the Britannia Stadium from Charlton last summer after impressing on trial, and he has established himself as a key member of Tony Pulis' side. The Senegal international was linked with a move away from Stoke earlier this month but the Potters have responded by securing him to a new deal. Faye is now tied to the club until the end of next season, while Wilkinson has committed his future to Stoke until the summer of 2011. Academy graduate Wilkinson has also become a regular in the team this season and Pulis is thrilled to be keeping both players. "We're pleased to have tied the two of them up to deals," Pulis told the club's official website. "Wilko has been smashing for us and we're delighted that Amdy is going to be with us for another season." Chief executive Tony Scholes added: "Although at this time the attention is on players that we may be bringing in, the players who are at the football club are the most important ones. "We're delighted to have both Amdy and Andy commit their medium-term futures to the club and sign extensions to their deals."
