Coventry have signed David Bell from Championship rivals Norwich City.
Bell only joined Norwich in the summer from Luton Town, but he has struggled to settle at Carrow Road.
Norwich have allowed Bell to move on and Coventry have moved to snap up the winger after trying to sign him before he headed to East Anglia.
The 25-year-old has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal at the Ricoh Arena and could make his debut against Derby on Saturday.
Canaries boss Bryann Gunn confirmed Bell had left for personal reasons.
"David hasn't had the opportunity to show us his quality on his preferred side of the pitch," Gunn said.
"He approached me last week and asked about the situation, saying he wanted to move back closer to home with his young family.
"When Coventry made their offer, David was clear he wanted to go.
"David has been very professional and we wish him well in his future career."
