Leeds boss Simon Grayson has moved to bolster his side's leaky defence with the addition of Ipswich Town's Richard Naylor on loan.

The 31-year-old defender, who hails from Leeds, brings plenty of experience to Elland Road having made over 300 appearances for Ipswich.

Grayson had given his inherited defence a chance to prove themselves, but after conceding two soft goals to Carlisle at the weekend he admitted he needed to strengthen.

"He's a good, strong centre-back," Grayson told the club's official website.

"He's got plenty of experience and he's played plenty of games in the Championship this season.

"He will bring a wealth of experience and he brings a lot that I believe will help."
