Dave Brammer has revealed he is open to staying with Port Vale on a permanent basis.

Veteran happy to discuss future with League Two outfit

Port Vale's on-loan midfielder Dave Brammer has revealed he is open to staying with the club on a permanent basis. Brammer originally linked up with the League Two outfit from parent club Millwall in a bid to boost his fitness, however, the 33-year-old ended up joining Vale on loan. Although injury has limited Brammer's appearances, the veteran midfielder is willing to sit down with the club and see if they want to keep him for the remainder of the season. "Myself and Dean (Glover) have a decent relationship. I'm aware he wants to me to stay and if we can sort it out I will do. We're just waiting to see what happens," he told the Sentinel. "Whatever outcome is best for me, I'll go down that route. If I stayed here either on a permanent deal or a loan, it wouldn't affect the way I play or the way I speak to the manager, I would just get on with playing football."
