Hereford have moved to ease their goalkeeping crisis by signing Chris Weale on loan from Bristol City.
The Bulls have endured a torrid run of luck regarding keepers, with Matt Murray the latest to fall foul of the curse.
The former England Under 21 international, himself on loan at Edgar Street from Wolves, ruptured tendons in his knee against MK Dons on Tuesday as is now facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
With that blow limiting Graham Turner's options the Hereford boss has snapped up Weale on an emergency one-month deal.
The move represents the 26-year-old's second spell with the League One club, as he made one appearance during a similar stint in the 2006/07 season.
He too has endured injury his fair share of injury problems in the past, but has been pushing hard for a first-team spot at Bristol City following his move to Ashton Gate from Yeovil in 2006.
