McCormack and Bothroyd sidelined
Cardiff strikers Ross McCormack and Jay Bothroyd are set to be sidelined for several weeks.
Both had to be substituted in Saturday's 2-1 defeat at home to Wolves after picking up hamstring injuries.
They have since undergone scans and it is disappointing news for manager Dave Jones.
It was hoped that McCormack might only miss one match for the Bluebirds but tests have shown that he has a grade one tear and is likely to be out for around three to four weeks.
Bothroyd has a grade two tear and is expected to be missing for between six and eight weeks.
Jones confirmed after Saturday's defeat that he was planning to dip into the loan market to ease his injury crisis.
