MK Dons have signed Jason Puncheon on a one-month loan deal from Plymouth Argyle.

The midfielder returns to the Dons two years after being released by the club as a free agent.

The 22-year-old was a product of the club's youth academy and made 42 appearances before joining Barnet in the summer of 2006.

Two impressive seasons at Underhill then saw him earn a move to Plymouth, with the Pilgrims paying £250,000 for his services.

He has made six appearances for the Championship side this season, but has been allowed to head out on loan in order to find regular first-team football.

Puncheon is expected to complete the formalities of his move in time to feature for the Dons in their home encounter with Cheltenham on Saturday.
