Ferguson swoops after Blackett dislocates shoulder

Peterborough United have signed full-back Craig Braham-Barrett from non-league Welling United. Braham-Barrett has agreed a contract until 2010 with the Posh, who have paid £10,000 for the 20-year-old. The left-back impressed for Peterborough's reserves last week and had also been attracting interest from Nottingham Forest. Posh boss Darren Ferguson told the club's official website: "Craig is a young lad who we have had a look at and he has plenty of pace and performed well for us in the reserves. "With Jamie Day and Shane Blackett out, we needed cover in that position and he will provide that." Ferguson has moved to bring in Braham-Barrett after Blackett dislocated his shoulder in Saturday's 3-3 draw at Carlisle United. Blackett had only recently returned from a similar problem and is now facing three months on the sidelines with his latest injury.
