Sheffield Wednesday have allowed Luke Boden to join League Two side Chesterfield on a month-long loan deal.
The teenage striker is yet to make the grade at Hillsborough, with only a handful of first-team appearances to his name.
He is, however, highly regarded among the Owls management team and is expected to push for a regular role in the future.
The faith those at Wednesday have in his ability is proven by the fact that Boden recently penned a one-year contract extension with the club.
At only 19, though, Brian Laws feels the youngster will benefit from the valuable experience he can obtain from action at lower league level.
He could be handed an immediate opportunity to make an impact with his new club when the Spireites head to Rochdale on Saturday.
