Southampton starlet Adam Lallana has signed a new three-year contract at St Mary's.
Lallana has been rewarded by new Saints boss Jan Poortvliet following his promising start to the season.
The midfielder has started all five games so far this term and scored a fine goal in the midweek Carling Cup win over Birmingham City.
The 20-year-old made his first-team debut for Saints two years ago in a League Cup tie against Yeovil Town.
He spent a spell on loan at Bournemouth last season, but appears set to become a key figure in Poortvliet's plans this term.
