Ipswich defender set to gain first-team experience
Hamilton Academical have signed Ipswich Town defender Chris Casement on loan until January.
SPL new boys Hamilton have been looking to improve their defensive options and have managed to bring in Casement.
The 20-year-old has made two appearances for Ipswich in the Carling Cup this season, but has yet to establish himself in Jim Magilton's plans.
Ipswich boss Magilton is confident Casement will benefit from his stint with Billy Reid's Hamilton side.
"We have been looking to get some of our younger players out on loan," Magilton told the club's official website.
"It's important for the next stage in their development. They need to be playing League games every Saturday and going to Hamilton and playing in the SPL is a good opportunity for Chris."
Casement could be involved in Hamilton's SPL fixture with Hearts at New Douglas Park on Saturday.
