Crystal Palace goalkeeper Scott Flinders has joined Falkirk on loan for the first half of the season.
The 22-year-old has spent time at Gillingham, Brighton, Yeovil and Blackpool since signing for Palace in the summer of 2006.
He does not figure in the plans of manager Neil Warnock and has slipped further down the pecking order following the arrival of Darryl Flahavan at Selhurst Park in July.
Warnock has now allowed Flinders to head north to Scotland to gain some more experience.
Flinders will stay with the Bairns until January and could make his debut against Hibernian at the weekend.
