Sheffield Wednesday have suffered a blow with the news that Akpo Sodje could be out of action for two months.
Sodje, who began the new season in style by scoring twice in the win over Burnley, was forced to limp off with a knee injury.
Owls boss Brian Laws is waiting to find out the full extent of the problem, but fears Sodje could be sidelined for a lengthy period if he has ruputured one of his tendons.
Investigations"He may have ruptured one of the tendons just behind the knee," noted Laws.
"We are going to have to have further investigations before we can get a full diagnosis and length of time he'll be out, though I have to say it's going to be for while - at least a month, probably up to a couple of months.
"It's a massive blow for us. He's very dejected because he had waited so long to get back. He has never had an injury of this sort before. He has had rotten luck."
