Coventry have completed the signing of Clinton Morrison on a two-year deal.

The 29-year-old striker has been training with the Sky Blues for much of the summer following his release from Crystal Palace.

Chris Coleman revealed earlier on Thursday that he was hopeful of pushing through the transfer in the next 24 hours.

He has now clinched the deal and will be available for Coventry's Championship opener against Norwich on Saturday.

Morrison has expressed his joy at the move and is now looking to make a big impact at the Ricoh Arena.

"I'm delighted to finally have got a deal done," Morrison told the club's official website.

"Me and Leon McKenzie were strike partners at Palace and he's been calling me all the time telling me I should sign and I'm really pleased.

"I can score goals at this level and now I'm looking forward to doing that for Coventry."
