Luke Chambers has signed a new deal to keep him at Nottingham Forest until the summer of 2011.
Chambers moved to the City Ground from Northampton in January 2007 and has been a virtual ever-present in the side for the past 18 months.
He scored eight goals last season to help Forest win promotion to the Championship and he has now pledged his future to the club by putting pen-to-paper on a three-year contract extension.
"I can safely say I've never been happier in my football career - I'm loving life with Forest," Chambers told the club's official website.
"I believe this club has a really exciting future and I want to be a part of that future."
