Alan Gow's agent has suggested the Rangers forward would be keen to join Norwich City.
The Scottish striker visited the Championship club last week after previously rejecting a move to Burnley.
Motherwell are also keen on Gow, who has been unable to establish himself in Walter Smith's plans at Ibrox.
There have been reports that Gow would prefer to stay in Scottish football, rather than head to a Championship team.
But the player's agent Phil McTaggart says he is waiting for Norwich boss Glenn Roeder to follow up his interest.
"We were in Norwich last week and Alan was impressed with the manager and the setup," McTaggart told the Eastern Daily Press.
"We waited until after the weekend to sort a few things out and we're now waiting to hear from Norwich, but we are looking to take things forward."
