Kyle Lafferty's agent has stated that Burnley are locked in talks with both Celtic and Wolves.
Lafferty has not hidden his desire to quit Turf Moor, but Burnley have yet to accept any offers for the 20-year-old.
It is believed Burnley want around £4million for the Northern Ireland international and Lafferty's representative Gordon Armstrong is anxious for the club to agree a deal.
"The clubs need to sit down and discuss it and that isn't a likely situation until next week at the earliest," Armstong told the Evening Times.
"Owen is on holiday at the minute and he will want to be involved in any talks.
"Celtic and Wolves have made firm offers but there are still discussions to take place and I don't expect anything to be resolved in the next few days. Rangers made an early offer for Kyle but have not come back."
