Bristol City goalkeepers Chris Weale and Stephen Henderson have agreed to stay at Ashton Gate.
Though Adriano Basso was the Robins' undisputed No.1 last season, City boss Gary Johnson was keen to retain his back-up keepers.
He held talks with Weale earlier this week to learn whether the 26-year-old was willing to provide the cover for Basso next season.
Weale has accepted the offer of a new one-year deal with the Championship club, much to Johnson's delight.
"He's willing to stay here and fight for a first-team place next season with Adriano Basso," Johnson told the club's official website.
"If he is not playing regularly then there is always the option to allow him out on loan and he is happy with how everything looks.
"I don't want to lose him. The finer details of the contract are in the post and he has agreed to sign."
Young shot-stopper Henderson has also agreed to a new deal which he is due to sign upon his return from holiday.
Johnson added: "He has gone back to Ireland, but has in principle agreed to stay. He never wanted to go anywhere else in the first place."
