Plymouth Argyle boss Paul Sturrock has dismissed rumours that he is looking to sign Alan Maybury.
The Irish full-back is available on a free transfer after being released by Leicester City at the end of the season.
Maybury had finished the campaign on loan at Aberdeen and made 19 appearances during his time at Pittodrie.
Aberdeen are thought to be keen to offer the 29-year-old a long-term deal, while Plymouth were also linked with a bid.
But Home Park chief Sturrock says the former Hearts defender is not one of his summer transfer targets.
"I don't normally comment on speculation, but I just want to draw a line under this particular rumour," Sturrock told the club's official website.
"Alan Maybury will not be a Plymouth Argyle player next season. He is not on my radar and he never has been."
