Newly promoted Stoke City are looking to land Sochaux's highly-rated midfielder Guirane N'Daw.
The Senegal-born star has been linked to the likes of Lyon, Rangers, Celtic and Everton in the past year - but a move has never materialised.
Now Stoke are looking to use their new-found Premier League status to persuade the 24-year-old to switch to The Potteries.
Stoke boss Tony Pulis was in France earlier this month to personally check on a host of targets and seemingly N'Daw has impressed him.
N'Daw, who has spent his whole career with Sochaux, is rated in the £3million bracket - although the French side are keen to keep the powerful midfielder.
