Derby chairman Adam Pearson has confirmed a couple of Championship clubs are interested in David Jones.
Jones could be one of several players heading for the exit door at Pride Park as Paul Jewell plans to reshape his squad in the wake of relegation from the Premier League.
Wolves and Preston are believed to be leading the chase for former Manchester United youngster Jones and Pearson expects offers for the 23-year-old.
"We are expecting some interest in David Jones from one or two Championship clubs," Pearson told the Derby Evening Telegraph.
Jones has scored seven times in 47 appearances for Derby since joining from Manchester United.
