Queens Park Rangers have appealed against Damion Stewart's red card in the defeat at Norwich City.
Stewart was sent off after just five minutes of Saturday's 3-0 loss at Carrow Road, but the R's were unhappy with the decision.
The red card arose after QPR goalkeeper Lee Camp had come out to clear the ball only to catch Norwich striker Ched Evans.
R's boss Luigi De Canio had admitted Camp deserved to be sent off, but was baffled by the decision to dismiss Stewart.
"Maybe Lee Camp deserved to go, but I didn't think Damion deserved the red card, but the ref has made his decision and you'll have to ask him about that," said De Canio of the incident.
"Referees have to make split-second decisions and it can be difficult for them, but I feel we were unlucky."
