Kayode Odejayi has no plans to leave Barnsley despite his stunning miss in Sunday's FA Cup semi-final defeat to Cardiff.
It had been thought the striker could leave the club with the weekend miss the final straw for some fans following a disappointing campaign.
Odejayi has found the back of the net just once in the Championship this term, although he did net the winner in The Tykes' famous FA Cup triumph over Chelsea.
The 26-year-old Nigerian hit-man still believes he has a lot to offer the South Yorkshire side and is looking to give his all between now and the summer.
"Of course I want to stay at Barnsley," said Odejayi. "You don't become a bad player after just one game.
"I still feel as though I've got a lot to offer this club and I will keep carrying on trying to do that.
"I am really enjoying my time here and, whatever the manager decides to do, that is football. There are comings and goings all the time.
"I just want to concentrate on the remaining league fixtures and try to get us as many points as we can and secure our Championship place."
