Matthew Gilks will discuss his Norwich City future with Glenn Roeder at the end of the season after being denied a loan move.
The goalkeeper has yet to make his debut for Norwich since joining the Championship side from Rochdale last summer.
He was wanted by other clubs on loan prior to Thursday's deadline, but Roeder was reluctant to sanction a move.
Gilks is frustrated by his lack of first-team football and plans to meet with the Canaries boss once the season has finished.
"A couple of clubs came in for me, trying to get me on loan, but obviously with the situation with goalkeepers at the club, the manager can't afford to let me go, or he's not looking to let me go," Gilks told the Pink'Un.
"Which is a bit unfortunate for me, but then again it's up to the manager and I'm sure if there was a chance I could have gone, he wouldn't have stopped me from getting first-team football.
"I'm going to be here now until the end of the season and we'll have talks then. I'll be 26 in June and I've been used to playing first-team football.
"You could say it's been a disappointing season from my point of view, not playing any games, but next season I'll be looking to play games, whether it be on loan or whether it be on a permanent basis."
