Wade Elliott has committed his long-term future to Burnley by signing a new three-year contract.

The winger has appeared in all 40 of the Clarets' Championship fixtures this season, starting all but one.

Despite being a virtual ever present in the side he has just one goal to his name so far, although that was a stunning winner in a 1-0 victory against Charlton at the beginning of March.

He arrived at Turf Moor on a free transfer from Bournemouth in the summer of 2005 and has been a key part of the Lancashire side's setup ever since.

Currently Burnley's Player of the Year, his new deal ensures that he will remain with the club until at least 2011.
