Skysports.com understands Crystal Palace are in talks with John Bostock over a first professional deal at the club.
England youth international Bostock is regarded as one of the best young talents in the country and is believed to have attracted the interest of a host of top clubs across Europe.
The 16-year-old became Palace's youngest debutant when he made his first appearance for the club aged just 15 years and 287 days against Watford in October.
Palace are keen to tie down the prodigious teenager to a professional contract to ward off interest from several Premier League suitors.
Bostock's agent Colin Gordon confirmed talks were ongoing with Palace regarding a professional deal.
"I have spoken to Neil Warnock about sorting something out for John," Gordon told skysports.com.
"Talks are ongoing between all parties and we are hopeful something will be agreed soon."
