Nigerian likely to quit at end of season

Hull midfielder Jay-Jay Okocha has revealed he is likely to retire at the end of the season. The Nigerian joined The Tigers on a one-year deal in September after a spell in Qatar. However, the 34-year-old has had a number of injury problems in recent months and admits he could be about to bring the curtain down on his career. "I am just thinking until the end of this season," Okocha told Radio Humberside. "Who knows what will happen but now I think that will be me done. "After Hull that is it, I feel that this is my last bus stop." Okocha scored eight goals in 59 appearances at international level and played in three World Cups. The former Fenerbahce, Paris Saint Germain and Bolton Wanderers player, who has won fans worldwide for his flamboyant style, also helped Nigeria to Olympic Gold in 1996.
