The Football Association has rescinded the red card Andy Griffin received against Queens Park Rangers.

Griffin was sent off by referee Andy D'Urso during Sunday's defeat to QPR following a sliding tackle on Hogan Ephraim.

Manager Tony Pulis confirmed that the club would appeal the decision, while D'Urso later admitted that he was wrong to dismiss the defender.

The FA has now upheld Stoke's appeal against the decision, meaning Griffin's original three-match suspension will not stand.
