Lee Bullen admits that he is expecting to be shown the exit door at Hillsborough come the end of the season.
The Owls captain was brought to the club by former manager Chris Turner in the summer of 2004 but looks unlikely to extend his four year association with Championship side.
The veteran defender's current one-year deal expires in the summer, and despite an expected takeover at the end of the season set to bring extra finance into the club, Bullen has conceded that his future now lies elsewhere.
Right decision
"My own personal situation is that I'm probably going to be moving on at the end of the season whether there is a takeover or not," he said.
"The club have basically told me that so I've just got to get on with my own situation, but I just hope that the right decision is made."
