Idrizaj ends Palace stint to join Latics

Oldham Athletic have snapped up Liverpool striker Besian Idrizaj on loan until the end of the season. Idrizaj has been on loan at Crystal Palace, but an agreement has been reached to terminate his stint at Selhurst Park. He has now accepted a move to Boundary Park after making just seven appearances during his time at Palace. The Austrian has yet to make his senior debut for Liverpool, and spent the end of last term on loan at Luton Town. Meanwhile, Oldham have cancelled the contract of striker Michael Ricketts with immediate effect. Ricketts has been on loan at Walsall, although it is uncertain whether he will be offered a permanent deal by Richard Money.
