Wade Elliott is hoping he will be offered a new contract to stay with Championship promotion hopefuls Burnley.
The winger's current deal expires at the end of the season, but he is keen to extend his time at Turf Moor, having joined from Bournemouth in 2005.
He has featured in every Championship game this term and is optimistic Clarets boss Owen Coyle will keep him at the club.
"I enjoy it here," said Elliott.
"I have improved and progressed as a player and the gaffer is very positive in his approach.
"He likes to play attacking football and it shows in our performances. There is a good atmosphere at the club at the moment.
"Everybody has ambitions to play at the very top level, but I think that my contract will all get taken care of in due course."
