Skysports.comunderstands Wolves and Leicester have made bids for Nottingham Forest ace Kris Commons.

Commons has attracted the interest of a host of clubs over the last 12 months after a number of impressive performances at the City Ground.

The 24-year-old is out of contract in the summer and is believed to be keeping his options open.

Wolves and Leicester have held a long-term interest in the skilful winger and tried to sign him in the summer before Commons signed a new 12-month deal at Forest.

The Championship duo have kept tabs on Commons and they have tested Forest's resolve to hang onto their prize asset with firm bids.

However, Forest are believed to have rejected their overtures as they have no plans to sell any of their squad as they battle to win promotion from League One.
