Wolves winger Michael Kightly aims to return to training at the end of the week after recovering from a nagging ankle injury.
Kightly suffered the problem against local rivals West Brom at the end of November, and has made just one substitute appearance in the past two months.
The former non-league ace has had an injection in his ankle and is hoping he will now be able to get back to full fitness.
"I had the injection on Thursday and my ankle now feels better than it has done at any stage since I first strained it," Kightly told the club's official website.
"When I came back last time I could still feel it, but I thought that was normal given the length of time I'd been out.
"But now it feels fine, so fingers crossed it will be okay when I give it a good test out. I still need to work on my fitness.
"After being out for eight-and-a-half weeks it doesn't matter how much work you do in the gym or the swimming pool, it's not the same. But if everything goes to plan I could be in full training at the end of the week. We'll just have to see how it goes."
