Skysports.com understands Hibernian are hoping to bring Ian Murray back to Easter Road
New Hibs boss Mixu Paatelainen is looking to bolster his squad and he has earmarked a move for former favourite Murray.
Murray is looking for a move after growing increasingly frustrated with lack of first team opportunities at Norwich.
Falkirk have expressed an interest in Murray and now Hibs have joined the chase for the versatile midfielder's signature.
Murray's agent Jim McArthur has confirmed Hibs are keen on signing their former skipper.
"Hibs are interested in signing Ian on loan," McArthur told skysports.com.
"Ian would be keen on a move back to Easter Road as he just wants to be playing again.
"Falkirk are also interested and it is now up to Norwich to decide what they want to do."
