Blackburn and Watford have both previously been keen on the CSKA Sofia stopper, who is set to cost £700,000.
28-year-old has five caps to his name and is rated highly in his homeland.

"I think the physical style of football played in England would suit me well. The deal can still fall through, but I am ready for any outcome," said Iliev.
Norwich hope to confirm Iliev's capture within the next few days and he could be available for this weekend's trip to Barnsley.
