Northampton Town have brought in Leicester City winger Jonathan Hayes until the end of the season.
Hayes has been allowed out on loan by Foxes boss Ian Holloway to build up his first-team experience.
The 20-year-old joined Leicester from Reading last summer, but has been restricted to seven Championship appearances, with six of those from the bench.
Cobblers manager Stuart Gray is confident Hayes will prove to be a useful recruit for the League One club.
Gray told Northampton's official website: "Jonathan is a player I have known since his time at Reading and I have kept tabs on him at Leicester.
"He has had an excellent grounding in the game and he is an attacking wide left player with a lot of pace. He has good ability going forward and can cause problems for defenders and stretch teams.
"He is here for the rest of the season and I think he will be a good addition to the squad."
