Luigi De Canio has confirmed his intention to try to keep Rowan Vine at Queens Park Rangers permanently.
The striker, who has been on loan from Birmingham City, scored three goals in 18 Championship appearances for QPR.
He marked the final game of his loan spell by creating two goals in the New Year's Day win over Leicester City.
But QPR boss De Canio is hoping that will not prove to be Vine's last contribution to the club's bid to avoid relegation.
"We will sit down with the board and see who enters the club's plans," De Canio told reporters.
"Anyone who can be beneficial to QPR will be taken into consideration.
"We'd definitely like to sign Vine, so we will talk about that too."
