Barnsley's Sam Togwell hopes the club can keep hold of their prized assets in the January transfer window.
Brian Howard has been strongly linked with Everton, whilst the likes of Arsenal are said to be keen on goalkeeper Heinz Muller.
But Togwell hopes the high-flying Tykes will not have their squad dismantled in the New Year.
"People might be looking at some of the players because they and the team are performing well," said midfielder Togwell.
"But in the dressing room, we have not heard anything about anyone leaving and it's important the squad is kept intact.
"At the moment, we feel that we have a good squad and if we get a few more additions we should be ok."
