Defender's loan is cut short

Larrys Mabiala has returned to Paris St Germain after ending his loan spell at Plymouth. Former Argyle manager Ian Holloway brought the 20-year-old to the club on a season-long loan in August. However, Pilgrims boss Paul Sturrock has explained that he and Mabiala both agreed that it would be in the defender's best interests to call an end to his time at Home Park. "Larrys and I had a wee chat about things. I did feel that he was coming in at a difficult time for him to have games and it wasn't going to happen," he said. "At the end of the day I think he appreciated that as well and decided he wants to go back to France. "That was a mutual decision and so he goes back to Paris Saint Germain." Plymouth have also confirmed that striker Cherno Samba will soon leave the club, while Brentford have extended the loan of winger Ryan Dickson for a further month.
