Skysports.com understands Ian Murray is hoping to win a move away from Norwich in next month's transfer window.
Murray has dropped down the pecking order at Carrow Road since the arrival of Glenn Roeder as manager.
The former Rangers and Hibernian ace, who only signed a one-year deal when joining Norwich in the summer, is keen to move on in search of regular first-team action.
Falkirk are reported to be interested in a loan switch and Murray's agent Jim McArthur has confirmed he will have talks with Roeder to try and find a resolution.
"Ian has not been figuring recently and he wants to be playing regularly," McArthur told skysports.com
"I will sit down with Glenn Roeder and assess his options and I am sure we can come to some sort of agreement.
"There are some clubs interested and we will wait and see what develops."
