Ipswich defender Richard Naylor has been ruled out for a month with a slipped disc in his neck.
Naylor had been making good progress since undergoing an operation to cure a cartilage problem in his toe, but is now facing more time on the sidelines.
The defender has not featured for the first team since picking up a metatarsal injury in February and will be disappointed at not being able to challenge for a first-team spot.
Once fit, Naylor may find it difficult to walk straight back into the side as Ipswich have made a promising start to the season and currently sit just one point outside the play-off places in ninth place.

Manager Jim Magilton tells the club's official website about how the injury was sustained: "He had a sore neck and Richard being Richard shrugs it off and played for the reserves against Norwich a couple of weeks ago.
"Then he got a nudge in training and then another one and the discomfort got worse.
"He had a bulge in his neck so we sent him for a scan and they found he had slipped a disc in his neck and he needs to rest for a month.
"He is going up the wall as you would expect. It's bad news for him because he has recovered from injury and was pushing hard for a place in the team."
