Wayne Andrews is back with Coventry City after his Leeds United loan came to an end.
The striker, who was an unused substitute in Saturday's 4-2 win over Millwall, made two appearances during his Elland Road spell.
The pacey 29-year-old appeared in Leeds' 1-0 win at Oldham and also their Johnstone's Paint Trophy success at Darlington.
With fellow loanee Mark de Vries also back at Leicester, manager Dennis Wise has just Tomi Ameobi as back-up to starters Tresor Kandol and Jermaine Beckford.
With former Port Vale man Leon Constantine still a few weeks from featuring and Tore Andre Flo on the sidelines, Wise is mulling over bolstering his options.
