Injured Blackpool defender Ian Evatt is hoping for a timely birthday present next month.
The 25-year-old - who had been expecting to be out until the New Year - is instead targeting his birthday on 19th November for a return to first-team action.
He is already back in light training after suffering ligament damage in his ankle, shin and knee during last month's clash with Colchester.
Speaking of his progress so far, Evatt told the Blackpool Gazette: "I'm delighted because I don't like being injured and missing matches. It's very frustrating, especially when the team aren't winning.
"I can jog and I even tried some proper running in training yesterday, though it's just a little too soon for that. But I'm stepping things up and all being well I'll be back sometime next month.
"I'm hoping I'll be right by November 19 - that's my birthday and it would be a nice present."
