Ipswich boss Jim Magilton has confirmed he is interested in bringing Hibernian centre-back Rob Jones to Portman Road.
Magilton was in attendance at Easter Road on Sunday as Jones captained Hibs to victory over Celtic, and the Northern Irishman has revealed he is keen to watch him again.
"We had heard a lot about him and I went to see what all the fuss was about. We will certainly be looking at him again," he said.
Jones produced some impressive performances for the SPL side last season and attracted attention from Leeds United in the summer.
However after the Yorkshire club's approach for him was rejected, the 27-year-old insisted that he was committed to Hibs.
No reason to sell
The Scottish side recently revealed annual profits of £7.4million and Magilton understands money will be no incentive for the club to sell their captain.
"Hibernian are not short of money and have no reason to sell so it remains to be seen whether they will be interested in selling." he said.
